IMEs Dashain Ma SLC Campaign Ends; Khaireni, Rupandehi based Mukti Lal Shrestha wins Hyundai

IME Ltd. marked an end of remittance industry’s biggest consumer promotion campaign Dashain Ma SLC on 31st October with the live bumper lucky draw for the bumper prize making Khaireni, Rupandehi based Mukti Lal Shrestha the winner of a brand new Hyundai EON car.

Amid a special function held at Hotel Shangri-La, IME Executive Chairman Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal conducted the software based bumper lucky draw that generated the winner randomly from the pool of transaction IDs accumulated for the period of two months of the campaign period i.e. Bhadra 1st – Ashoj 31st 2070. Immediately after the draw, Mr. Dhakal made a phone call to the winner in front of the audience to inform and congratulate him from the venue. Winner Shrestha had received a transaction worth Rs. 6,160 /- on Ashoj 21, 2070 from Malaysia with the transaction ID 90656614061 through IME agent Siddhartha Development Bank’s Khaireni Branch.

During the program, IME CEO Mr. Suman Pokharel and Marketing & BD Head Mr. Daniel D Shrestha handed over Samsung Smartphone to Ram Kaji Karki, daily lucky draw winner of campaign's last day. Likewise, Executive Chairman Dhakal and IME brand ambassador duo Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree Niraula gave away Samsung 32” LED TV to the winner of  last weekly lucky draw winner. Pay-out agent Representative of Fast Service Sub Remit Pvt. Ltd, Gongabu, received the prize on behalf of the winner Bhim Bahadur Rana who could not make it in the ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Marketing & BD Head Mr. Shrestha stated about the grand success of the campaign not only from business standpoint but also from social aspect since customers from different social and economic backgrounds and geographies received the prizes and got delighted. Similarly, highlighting IME’s contribution to promote formal remittance, CEO Pokharel shared about IME’s plans to become an alternative payment solution provider.

IME brand ambassador duo Deepak Raj Giri and Deepa Shree also shared their wonderful experiences being a part of the campaign and also be a part of IME as a whole since its inception.

Giving closing remarks to the ceremony, Executive Chairman Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal congratulated all the winners including the bumper prize winner of Dashain ma SLC campaign. Mr. Dhakal also expressed his satisfaction on the success of the campaign and shared his aspirations to come up with similar customer centric programs in future and to continue delighting customers with service excellence.

The campaign Dashain Ma SLC has remained one of IME's successful campaign attracting hundreds of thousands of customers who made transactions from all applicable international corridors to Nepal, 76 IME Centers, more than 2600 agent outlets and partner bank/FIs across the country. The campaign's buzzing word SLC stands for Smartphone, LED TV and Car. During the campaign IME gave away 60 Samsung smart phones (Samsung G Star) each a day, 8 LED TVs (Samsung 32” LED TVs) each a week and a Car (Hyundai EON) as the bumper prize at the end of the campaign. Selection of the winner was done through lucky draws conducted from the pool of transaction IDs and customer information appearing in IME system and the announcement was made through company corporate website www.imeremit.com, official facebook page www.facebook.com/imeremit
