IME provides financial assistance from IME Kalyankari Kosh

IME has provided financial assistance of Rs. 30,000/- (Thirty Thousand) in total from its welfare fund "IME Kalyankari Kosh" to the survivors of two deceased migrant workers who lost their lives in accidents during their work in Qatar. IME's Finance Controller Satish Verma, Marketing Head Daniel D Shrestha and Agent Networking Manager Rudra Paudel jointly handed over the cheques to families of late Khadga Bahadur Pithakoti of Lumde, Ilam and late Bishnu Prasad Acharya of Terhthum amid a program held at IME Head Office, Panipokhari.

IME has set up the welfare fund termed “IME Kalyankari Kosh” with an aim to financially support the migrant workers injured in accidents during their work and also to support the families and survivors of the deceased workers working in Malaysia and Gulf Countries.

This comes as part of IME’s social initiative governed by its four-pillar CSR philosophy covering Health & Safety, Community Giving, Environment and Education.
