IME Celebrates 14th Anniversary of Cooperation

KATHMANDU, June 12: IME Ltd, Nepal’s No.1 Remittance Company has celebrated its 14th anniversary organizing various programs in Kathmandu today with the slogan "Celebrating 14th Anniversary of Cooperation" commemorating the contribution of all stakeholders involved in the journey so far.


To mark the 14th anniversary and as part of IME's four-pillar CSR philosophy covering Health & Safety, Community Giving, Education and Environment,  team IME organized a cycle rally from IME Head Office at Pani Pokhari. The team then did tree plantation in an open area at Dhapasi known as Harihar Dharmic Ban with the first tree planted by CEO Mr. Suman Pokharel after which each member of the team planted trees in the area. Around 300 trees were planted within an area of 52 ropanis.

Besides, amid a special celebration program at IME Head Office CEO Mr. Pokharel, handed over prizes to staffs felicitated under different categories. The celebration ended with the CEO cutting special anniversary cake.

Over the course of 14 years of operation, IME has taken great strides and contributed not only in bringing home the hard earned money of millions of Nepalese working abroad but also in institutionalizing the overall remittances industry of the country. In the coming years, the company is poised to continue leading the industry exploiting its competencies of cutting edge technology, service innovations and skilled human resources.
