IME and Global IME Bank felicitate Ultra-runner and Climber Sanjay Pandit

IME and Global IME Bank have felicitated Ultra-runner and Climber Sanjay Pandit who had successfully scaled Mount Everest on May 19, 2013. Executive Chairman of IME and Chairman of Global IME Bank Mr. Chandra Prasad Dhakal felicitated Pandit with tokens of appreciation from both organizations amid a special program held at IME Complex, Panipokhari.

Speaking at the program Mr. Dhakal congratulated Pandit for becoming Nepal's first athlete to have climbed the highest peak of the world and also thanked him for carrying the flags of IME and Global IME Bank at the top. Coincidentally, IME has become Nepal's first remittance company to take its flag at the top of Everest with Sanjay Pandit scaling the summit on May 19, 2013.

IME CEO Mr. Suman Pokharel, IME Marketing & BD Head Mr. Daniel D Shrestha, Global IME Bank Marketing Manager Shanta Shiwakoti and other senior executives of IME and Global IME Bank were present on the occasion. Sharing his experiences of the successful ascent to Everest, Sanjay Pandit thanked IME and Global IME Bank for financially and morally supporting him in the expedition. IME and Global IME Bank had provided Rs. 100,000 in the form of financial assistance to Pandit in April.
